One integrated smart factory

Six claims. Each one ships with the way to check it — because in this category, everyone claims automation. We invite the audit.

  1. One digital system, end to end

Your part never leaves one digital thread: order, nesting, production planning, machine programs, material batches and shipping all live in the same integrated ERP + WMS + APS + MFC + CAD/CAM stack. No hand-offs between islands, no re-keyed data, no paperwork fights.

Verify it: give us any order number at any terminal and pull the thread yourself — drawing to delivery note, unescorted.
  2. Qualified welders — and robots that repeat them

Quality comes from the qualified process: certified welders working to documented WPS/WPQR under ISO 3834-2. Robotic cells then repeat that qualified process without drift, series after series. A robot welds bad parts with excellent repeatability if the WPS is wrong — which is why the WPS comes first at Platt, and the robot second.

Verify it: ask for the welder matrix with expiry dates and any WPQR in scope — sent before you ask when you request a quote.
  3. The two-minute warehouse

An automated storage-and-retrieval system serves the whole factory: any pallet, any batch, retrieved in two minutes — production decoupled from shipping, capacity decoupled from chaos.

Verify it: bring a spec from your own BOM and start your watch.
  4. Measured quality, not promised quality

3D structured-light scanning compares finished parts against your CAD model, colour-mapped to the tenth of a millimetre. The scan report ships with the part — honest numbers over clean numbers.

Verify it: pick any part from a running order and ask for its deviation map.
  5. Nine technologies, zero interfaces

Engineering, laser cutting, bending, rolling, welding, blasting, surface treatment, powder coating, assembly and testing — one roof, one plan, one responsibility. One supplier replaces four; fewer interfaces, fewer purchase orders, fewer places for a schedule to die.

Verify it: walk the flow on a factory tour — every station is on the same aisle, on the same system. See the nine technologies →
  6. 60% of our energy from our own sunlight

The factory runs on 60% solar-powered operation from our own plant — cost stability engineered into the quote, and a cleaner line in your supplier scorecard.

Verify it: the inverter dashboard hangs in the entrance hall; ask for the generation curve on your visit.

Not a workshop with machines — one integrated smart factory.

The claims above are how we run, not how we advertise. If any of them fails your audit, we want to know first.
