A family firm that built a smart factory
"We are not selling iron by the kilo — we sell solutions."
Platt 2003 Kft. is a Hungarian family-owned contract manufacturer of high-complexity welded sheet-metal assemblies for European industrial OEMs. From our robotized, digitally integrated factory in Felsőtárkány, 150+ professionals take parts from CAD file to painted, assembled and tested component — laser cutting, CNC and panel bending, ISO 3834-2 certified robotic and manual welding, shot blasting, powder coating and assembly under one roof, planned end-to-end by an integrated ERP, WMS, APS and CAD/CAM system. For more than two decades we have exported 95% of our production to OEM partners in Austria, Germany, France and the Netherlands. 60% of our energy comes from our own solar plant. Smart, Confident, Efficient.
2003 → 150+ professionals
Founded in 2003, grown for 22 years with zero ownership changes and self-funded investment — no grant banners, no debt-fuelled leaps, no surprises. Every machine on the floor was earned by the parts that left it. The succession and continuity plan is written down and named in our credibility pack, next to the filed public accounts.
That is the ownership structure behind every delivery promise we make: predictable, documented, on time. Boring, in the best sense.
An engineer at the head of the table
Managing Director László Virág leads the company from the shop floor and the CAD room, not from a distance. Every key account gets a named responsible engineer who works in German and English, answers escalations directly, and can be at your line within a day.

The certificates your audit asks for first
60% solar-powered operation
Our own solar plant covers 60% of the factory's energy demand. We state it exactly that way — no per-part carbon arithmetic until the allocation evidence exists to back it.
